Whether it’s racing down wavy slides or shuffling across the rope skywalks, the Playbarn has it all to keep your family entertained for hours. The Playbarn Café serves homemade meals, snacks and drinks to keep you going through the day. Based at Farrington's Farm, Farrington Gurney, between Bristol and Bath.
No need to book in advance, just turn up!

Please be aware that the Playbarn will be closed for the day on Tuesday 4th March for essential maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. The rest of Farrington's will be open as usual.
INDOOR SOFT PLAY
Our large soft play structure is made up of three fun-packed levels that will tire out even the toughest adventurer. There’s a huge multi-lane slide and a high drop slide, as well as ball pits, tunnels, climb towers and rope sky walks - all designed to test your strength, balance and coordination.
Suitable for children up to 12 years old.
BABY AREA
This section of our soft play area has plenty of space for you to stay and play by your child’s side. The section is completely padded, so there’s a soft landing for those practising getting around. The mini space hopper animals are great for role play and tummy time too.
Suitable for children 0-2 years old.
TODDLER AREA
Split over two levels, this soft play area keeps the most energetic toddlers entertained. There’s a slide, ball pit and plenty of other obstacles for your toddlers to tackle. All while you take a seat on one of the many picnic benches and enjoy a coffee from the Playbarn café.
Suitable for children aged between 2 to 4 years.
PLAYBARN CAFE
All that running around will certainly make your stomach rumble. And the homemade food from the café is the best way to reenergise for round two in the Playbarn. From light bites to filling lunches, the café serves a wide range of food. All of course made with locally sourced and homegrown produce.

Monday - Saturday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Sunday 9.00 am - 4.00 pm
Please note that you don't need to book to visit the Playbarn but during busy times we may have to enforce a time limit to manage capacity and ensure everyone gets playtime!

FISH & CHIP FRIDAYS
Visit the Playbarn after school on a Friday and you can order from our Fish & Chip Shop menu!
Your food boxes will be delivered to your table while the kids are playing.
SCHOOL DISCOUNT
Children of Farrington Gurney Primary School receive 50% off entry after school during term time. Each child must be wearing Farrington Gurney school uniform to be eligible for the discount.
DAILY DRESS UP
Let their minds run free with imagination! We have lots of outfits available to play dress up while playing in the Playbarn.
Available weekdays during term time, on the pegs by the toilets.
ANNUAL PASSES
Our annual pass gives you UNLIMITED entry into our Playbarn for a whole year, giving you the freedom to play at Farrington's whenever you like. Pop into the Playbarn to sign up.
